Apple Muffins
2 cups all- purpose flour
½ cup sugar
¼ cup oil
¼ cup applesauce
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg
¾ cup low-fat milk
2 medium sized apples
½ teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, sugar, salt
and cinnamon. Set aside.
2. In a small mixing bowl combine the milk oil, and eggs using a whisk.
3. Peel and chop the apples.
4, Using a wooden spoon, make a hole in the center of the dry ingredients.
Add the liquid ingredients, and applesauce. Mix a few times until
ingredients are moistened.
5. Fold in the chopped apples.
6. Spoon the batter into the muffin pans.
7. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes until golden brown on top. Yum!
