Episode #8 Black Bean Salsa Rice Bowls, & Spaghetti Squash with Creamy Marinara
Kids will never believe you when you tell them spaghetti grows on a vine. Well, you'll just have to show them by making shaghetti squash together. Kids are always amazed when they scrape out the noodle like imposter after baking it in the oven. A fun, healthy way to eat your veggies.
The black bean salsa rice bowls are irrisistable. Kids love to dip in baked tortilla chips, or
warm tortillas and "munch out" on this one.

Episode #7 Pizza
This is a favorite for so many kids and teens. But here's a twist; learning to use yeast, making the dough, watching it rise, smothering it with homemade sauce, fresh toppings, and cheese,
and pulling a fresh, hot delicious pizza from your oven. It's so easy, and better yet this pizza is a healthier version that uses low-fat mozzarella cheese, and is topped with fresh fruits and veggies.

Episode #6 Mac & Cheese and a Salad Bar
Think outside the box on this one, (the macaroni and cheese box), there are so many fun shapes of pasta that work great for Macaroni and Cheese. Look down the pasta isle at the supermarket for small shapes of pasta that have nooks and crannies to hold the yummy cheese sauce. And don't forget creating your own fresh salad bar tat home, it's not only fun but healthy too.

Episode #5 Hamburgers and Homemade Fries
Making our own hamburgers is easy, and don’t forget those “hamburger fixins”
because they’re the best part, (crisp iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions).
One trick to remember when cooking a hamburger is not to press it down as it
cooks, because that will make the hamburger dry. Have fun making a healthier version
of fries to serve on the side.

Episode #4 Apple Muffins and Scrambled Eggs
Be careful buying muffins in the supermarket, some should be labled as cupcakes because they are so high in fat and calories. Here's a recipe that tastes moist and sweet like a cupcake, but has less fat and calories. A delicious treat - healthy apple muffins. Plus, simple and quick scrambled eggs to make breakfast complete.

Episode #3 California Rolls
California Rolls were created by a Sushi Chef in Los Angeles in the 1970's for his customers who were squeamish about eating raw fish. Over thirty years later, California Rolls are mainstream, and so popular you can purchase them at just about any supermarket. They are also easy, and fun to make at home. The only tricky part is getting to a specialty supermarket to find the ingredients and kitchen tools you need, (I went to R-N Market in Fresno). Have fun making these and get the whole family involved. Kids just love to make and eat California Rolls!
