Carmel Pecan Tarts

Crust:
1 cup flour
½ cup butter
¼ cup powdered sugar

Filling:
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup chopped pecans
1 tablespoon melted margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 slightly beaten egg
dash of salt

Topping:
12 caramels
1 tablespoon milk

Directions:

1. In a small mixing bowl mix the flour, butter, and powdered sugar. Put the crust in 24 small tart pans.
2. In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, pecans, margarine, vanilla, egg, and salt. Stir the mixture gently with a wooden spoon.
3. Spoon the filling into each tart pan.
4. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 12 minutes. Cool in pans 2-3 minutes then remove from pans to a cooling rack.
5. Place the caramels and milk in a small bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Remove from the microwave and stir until the two ingredients are combined.
6. Using a fork, drizzle the caramel mixture over the top of each tart. Yum!
